JobUncover

Our standards

This page says plainly how our articles are made, what our product can and cannot promise, and what remains your part. We would rather you read it now than be surprised later.

How we write and check our articles

  • Useful topics

We write about the questions people applying for jobs actually ask, not about whatever would flatter the product.

  • Sources you can open

When an article states a fact or a figure, it links to where that comes from. We open and read every source before we cite it. We say who ran the study, and we say so when they have something to sell. Figures with no source we can check are left out.

  • Checked by a person

Every article is read and checked by a person on our team. Where the evidence for something is thin, the article says so.

  • The product in its place

JobUncover is mentioned in the last section of an article, clearly apart from the advice.

  • Dates and corrections

Each article shows when it was published. If you find a mistake, write to us and we will correct it.

The JobUncover blog

General information, not personal advice

Our articles, and the company and salary research in our product, are general information. They are not legal, financial or tax advice, and they are not a statement about your personal situation. Job markets, pay and customs differ from country to country and from one employer to the next, so check what applies where you are applying.

Your documents are yours to check

JobUncover builds your CV and cover letter from your profile, and you send them under your own name. Read every document before you send it. Check the facts, the dates and the wording, and change anything that is not right. You are responsible for what you send to an employer.

No promise about the outcome

We work to make the product as good as we can. We cannot promise an interview, an offer or a job, and we are not responsible for the result of an application or an interview. That depends on the employer, the other candidates and many things nobody controls.

Mistakes are possible

The software can get things wrong. A fit score can misjudge a requirement, research can miss something or rely on a page that is out of date, and a sentence can come out badly. That is why reading the result yourself is required and not a suggestion.

If something is wrong, tell us

Report a problem from the page of the application it concerns, or write to us. We read every report. When the fault is on our side, we return the credits for that run and fix the cause.

The full legal wording is in our terms. JobUncover is built and operated by Krox Group d.o.o.
